Anti-Semitism and Zionism.

As Israel intensifies its displacement and mass murder of Palestinian people, the nature of Zionism becomes apparent. There is no level of barbarity to which the Israeli Defence Forces will not stoop, to clear the land for expanding settlement, unfortunately, the IDF are supported by 80% of the population. Zionism and its offspring Israel function as a bulwark of western imperialism holding the Arab nations and their oil in check. This ghastly combination of religion and nationalism has financial resources at its disposable large enough to buy, lobby and threaten, universities, media, politicians, governments, worldwide. However, as the horror of Israeli actions unfold, decent people now question the very existence of Israeli, its occupation of Palestine and its foundational philosophy, Zionism, throughout the world decent people empathy now protest in their millions crying “Palestine will be Free” and act with empathy in defence of the suffering of Palestinians. States bought by the Zionists, obliterate free speech and brutally repress such expression, under the catch all phase of “Anit-Semitism.”

This cry of “anti Semitism” comes from much of the Jewish community in Ireland and worldwide. The Jews greatly suffered in Nazi Germany where vitriolic speeches claimed the superiority of the Aryan master race. A few generations after Auschwitz, the Zionists claiming to be “God’s Chosen People” similarly cast themselves as a master race to all others, and the abused have become the abuser. Zionist Israel has burnt the latent international sympathy people had for the for the Jews. The cry of antisemitism has lost resonance and the cultural damage to Judaism as a religion is immense.

The only path back to normality for Jews and to regain their status, is to lead the struggle against Zionism and the sectarian, apartheid state of Israel. To end the occupation, facilitate the return of lands to the Palestinian people and renounce the claim of “God’s Chosen People.” The best hope is to advocate for a single shared social order where Jews, Muslims, Christian, and Humanist live together in a secular socialist state structured for the happiness of its entire people. The struggle for these demands will ensure the fading of worldwide anti-Semitism.
