Although this winter has seen many of my plants in my London garden killed by the early snow and freezing weather the lemon took a battering as i have no where inside or really sheltered i could move it to and the young avocado trees got burned back. . The poor banana palm after 7 years finally succumbed to the cold it seems. Though it has once before completely disappeared only to suddenly send up a green shoot when the weather warmed up so I live in hope ..

 Spring has started in the garden.  The crocuses are the first bulbs to bloom this year .

The sweet box was the first thing to bloom its been in flower for about a week now .
