THE BRIXIT MESS AND THE BORIS TAKE OVER

I think the whole shutting parliament is the first act by Boris and Moog to do away with elections all together .

I remember seeing Boris on a BBC program years ago when he was not so famous talking about how he envied the Roman empire being able to run the whole empire on just 200 civil servants. I think he will run the government on as few people as he can get away with its the same as Trump has done in the white house reducers the core of pole running government to a sect few supporters and get rid of any one else by what every means it takes .

I belie that is what he is softening us up for or rather creating new president because we do not have a written constitution so there is nothing to stop him. As long as he can just get these things through by stealth and with the moneyed classes supporting him an certain sections of the media .

His plan is for Britain becomes banana republic tax haven between the investments of the worlds major economies . It will be a sort of British Virgin islands heavy weight or full fat with the poor aspect of the British population in the same sate as the poor populations in the virgin islands but with out the good weather but still unlikely to be in the path of hurricanes.

However with global warming I am not so sure about the later thing .

It is this attitude that plays to them bulk of the public in England who are in essence a pretty self centered inward looking nation .

It is this small majority that we witnessed win the referendum for leaving the European union the areas of the country with the highest immigration like London and the major cities mainly voted to stay in the union. The areas that European immigrants had moved to and settled in largely smaller more rural towns and city voted out as this was their first real interaction with internationals. Where as the city had been multicultural and multi ethnic for a much longer time and had realized the benefits of many languages and cultures. Its all so true to say that many of the people who came from the eastern block country of Europe moved to more rural city and did not come to the big city and have little or no contact with the Afro Caribbean and Asian peoples and to some extent side with the people of England who do not like our commonwealth citizens who are now British also many of those commonwealth Britain voted out because they mistakenly thought that by getting out of Europe we would let in more of their relatives. This may be just from talking to my neighbors in green street Newham an area that Mr Trump stated was a Muslim no go area I am a white working class gay man born raised and educated in this area for the last 68 years its never been a no go area . Though many of my fellow class mates moved out and describe it as a no go area or state that they moved out because of all “the colored and Pakistanis that have moved in “ from what they consider is the threatened bastions of Bishops Storford Harlow Chelmsford Broadstaires, Christchurch and many other places in the south east. Those few of us who remained here are not so incline to those sort of views and comments we actually like and get on with our neighbors .

What happened to Pride in London ?

while examining the difference between the pride events of the 1970`s and early 80`s with a friend. here in London having just had the 2018 pride march through London .  I Proffered this explanation as to why they are so different [we had been watch some BFI documentary footage of the 1976 pride march and rally with speakers ]

I know it all went an changed  after the last political pride in 1980 it was taken over by the clubs and the start of cooperate sponsorship. In 1980 it was a massive protest against Thatcher clause 28 and her policy's. After that the new gay right wing millionaires of that generation took over and made it a money spinning event . An that is how it has stayed a party and money making event for the clubs and chance for the cooperates to pink wash their reputation. I actually joint chaired then 1980 pride committee even bank rolled a lot of it personally lost a couple of thousand I could ill afford . it was largely run by the last of the gay liberation groups. That year there was a heavy police presents and a lot of the Brixton fairy's where arrested along with the gay Rasta boys and a lot of the other squatters from Railton road. I had a stand off with the press and the police commissioner that day. After they had arrested a thatcher drag act with a fake hatchet in her hat and a bottle of milk it was the first time they kettle`d a crowed as far as I am aware. Of course the next year we had the Brixton rots in April and at the next pride most of the active political gays where to busy fighting court cases or raising funds for the legal defense of people to get involved with pride and the right wing took over and did the whole pink pound thing .So those of us who are politically minded are still fighting the same old fight and have to accept that for the most part the right wing is still in control same as in straight life. though i often think that LGBT community has a slightly higher incidence of conservative right wing members .though they are not allays out and up front so to speak.

To be in the pride parade now you have to register with the police and give the names addresses and details of all the participants and all are issued with tickets to participate . 1984 or what ?

‘Total bottom’ Haaz Sleiman talks bottom-shaming and hooking up with Anderson Cooper ‘a few times’

Actor Haaz Sleiman made headlines this week when he released a video on social media announcing that not only is he gay, but he’s a “total bottom.”

“I am a gay, Muslim, Arab-American man,” Sleiman said, “and I’m going to take it even further. Not only am I gay, but I’m also a bottom. Not only am I a bottom, but I’m also a total bottom, which means I like it up you-know-where.”

Now, the 41-year-old talks with Unicorn Booty about growing up as a gay Muslim, bottom-shaming in the gay community, and those times he hooked up with Anderson Cooper way back when.

Here some highlights from the interview…

On the first time he realized he was gay:

I knew I was gay when I was seven years old. I know I was born that way. I spent my whole life hiding. I’m a Lebanese Muslim, growing up in an Arab country. It was not easy for me. I had a very tough childhood. Let’s just say the tone of my life was very dark and very gray. It took life to beat the hell out of me to make me want to come out. I finally realized I am going to either live and thrive or disappear and die.

On bottom-shaming:

Within the [gay] community, bottoms are looked down upon. They are considered less than. There are so many bottoms, and it’s so disrespectful how they are treated. … Bottom shaming is no different than sexism. We don’t take bottoms as seriously. We say, ‘Tops are better.’ And then we eye roll when we hear that someone is a bottom. We hear that men are more worthy than women, and men are the center of the world. It is the same when it comes to the dynamic between bottoms and tops. It is OK if he is f*cking another man but it’s not if he is being f*cked by another man. I don’t accept this. This is not the world I want to live in.

On homophobia in Hollywood:

There are two people right now in power who were so horrible to me. One of them — a producer — told me they wouldn’t hire a closeted gay actor. ‘I never hire gay guys who are in the closet, but if you come out, I will not be able to cast you in a lot of roles.’ Another huge iconic gay figure saw me at a party and he came up to me. He pursued me because he was a fan of my work.

I got excited to share with him that I was gay, and he was like, ‘Oh? Thank you for telling me.’ But his tone changed. He thought I was straight before. Once he found out I was gay and in the closet, he wasn’t interested anymore. A lot of people in the gay community still have an issue when someone else is in the closet. If you’re straight and play gay, that’s awesome! If you’re too gay, you can’t play that straight role.

On hooking up with Anderson Cooper:

 We hooked up a few times. Let’s just say I was not for him, he was not for me.

On changing people’s views and empowering LGBTQ people:

Specifically gay people who come from a type of gay culture where it is even more unaccepted and taboo. Whether it’s Islam or Christianity or Judaism, I hope people feel they are not alone and they are very powerful. And they are so powerful that they don’t allow anyone to hurt them. I want people who aren’t gay to have more respect for us. We won’t allow any other way. Maybe that’s a bit ambitious on my end. I guess everything starts with a dream.

 absolutely agree with this guy about how the gay community treats guys who are bottoms . I am versatile but more top than bottom and have to fight in many ways my self as because I have a small dick not being forced into being a permanent bottom by guys who seem to think that small dick and being able to be a bottom means you all ways are and they can own and posses you  In the early days of gay liberation when I came out here it was still illegal an in some ways guys where much gentler and leas sexually aggressive. All though socially and culturally  things have got better for gays in many places.The macho attitude and sexual objectification has got worse as far as I can see in the Gay community . The chant on marches and protests in the beginning  use to be we are not sex object's and our bodies our self we decide .Much the same as the women's movement  now it seems to be we are all sex objects women men  and often children are now all treated as sex objects in the media it pervades all of society . An is not what I fought for all the years I have in the liberation and equality movement. I know not every one is blinded by the media and the cultural norms of the society. There is however a strong dominate element of macho dominance and oppression  as witnessed by the Harvey Weinstein effect currently rippling through society and I  for one hope it will change for the better .

any one who hates gays hates god

It is a well known and accepted  fact among religious clerics of all shades that that god created men and women and the cosmos . That god is infallible can do no wrong by gods very nature  and all his works are perfect .
It is a mater of faith among the same clerics that man is the maker of mistakes and often makes mistakes by actions of his will.
 It is there for by their own logic that as same sexual acts take place in all the animals that god created Man kind being but one small part of the great variety of animals that god created and gave souls to can only be seen as gods natural plan for his creation . 
The evil of prejudiced and atrocity that said same clerics often enact against those animals that practice the love of their own kind is by its nature the sin of man against god . It si for this reason that I consider any one who who is not loving people who love members of their own sex are haters of god anmd his mighty works
