In Israel the population is now revolt against the government for starving the poor and giving to the rich.

Here in the city of London the capital of the world just now as the Olympics begins on Friday all the eyes of the world that have any interest in sport are focused on my neighborhood.

Yet I have no voice and feel totally disenfranchised from what is going on here my interest roams across the world and nits aches and pains and for rest and relaxation I garden where ever and when ever I can to repair the on going damage we are causing to the planet.

So for that I am glade that the Olympic park has been created and I hope the lame god the great father Jupiter enjoys his visit to the park we have created for him and that some where in the Bow back river system the water spirits can give voice to a prophecy for a brighter future.

The developed world need to understand that the idea of continuous financial  growth is a fantasy that the monied classes wish to foster and encourage in order to maintain the financial and statues differential between the rich and the poor.
The rich in the world  have no interest in leveling the playing field and making the difference between being rich and being poor minimal.
That philosophy is the province of the socialist, anarchistic, communistic, left thinking egalitarians of the world.

It really is not difficult to see that the housing problem in the United kingdom is caused by at least in some part the fact that well off people own holiday homes some times more than one  and have often a house in the country and a flat in the city. This action by its nature is excluding some people from having a roof over their head and forcing up the cost of property it is also not ecologically sound and is not on an environmental level sustainable.
Though for those in the position of owning such an amount of property it is possible to make the case from a personal point of view that the situation is sustainable. in that when you are not resident in the property personally it can provide holiday accommodation for other members of your family and be rented out as holiday accommodation an so earn you further income. If there is land around your property you can grow your own food and  make the place self sufficient. all of which helps to make the rich richer and make thew local jobless less able to afford a roof over their head and as land prices rise as holiday areas become popular there is less land available cheap for the poor to grow their own food on.
Land need`s in most cases  to be owned collectively or to be in national common ownership.If we are really serious about feeding the world and being ecologically sustainable. It is imperative That the people of this world start to think as a collective whole, functioning as members of the same family looking out for the good of our neighbors regardless of race color creed , sexual persuasion and nationality. We cannot countenance differences in levels of wealth or make differences in culture and behavior a reason for dislike and prejudices. Its time for a change if we do not make those changes to the way we live in the world and on the planet we will not survive the coming difficulties. The planet will and life will its just that human beings may not be part of it unless we change the rich of course think that their wealth and position will insulate them against the coming changes for this reference the Georgia guide stones in the USA. The truth to tell that in my own experience most organised religious groups are not concerned with green and ecological issues nor are they interested in democracy or freedom . they are for the most part concerned with the continuation of their own form of doctrine and the oppression of all other ideas and philosophy. even to the extent of the genocide of other groups who they see as being wrong according to their doctrinal rules and indicts.

It is for this reason that I see all organised religious practices and groups as fundamental opposed to freedom and democracy or indeed the continuation of life on this planet.

Under these circumstances the current move away from the idea of the secular none religious state and government that protects the rights of the individual and that insures the freedom of all others to practice their beliefs and activities freely is not a good move for the human race. fundamental Christians, fundamental Islamic s , fundamental Buddhists , Are all a danger to the health of the planet and its population.

All governments of the world need to be none religious and have a moral code that is in place to support all the peoples of their nations what ever their ethnicity or their creed or their sexual

persuasion.

The current occupy group protests going on around the world are being accused in the media of not offering alternatives to the capitalist system. while protesting against it the fact of the matter is that the media and most of the capitalist institutions are missing the point its not capitalism per say that needs to be replaced.

Its that it needs for the basis of the system needs to be run with a philosophy that the market is there for the benefit of the people of the nation.

To support the national health services, the education system, To invest in new business, to support the nation in what ever way is needed. My thoughts are simple the blame for the actual damage and violence lays with those who did it.

The reason for this trend in our society is to be blamed on the capitalist Thatcherite Blair and Cameron.
If we had nationalised the banks and thrown the bankers on the scrap heap with just the cloths they stood up in we might have changed society for the better.
Members of parliament should be proper representatives of the people they should live in the streets they represent and answer to local committees.
All adults of voting age should be summoned to a meeting at least once a year to make their thoughts known as to government legislation and legislation should not become law until they have been agreed at a local level.
The police should be the responsibility of the local people answerable to the local community.
There are to many rich people in this country and we should not tolerate them they are the sickness in our midst they should be taxed till they are at a average level of income.
We should close all public, private schools, church and religious schools and have only one form of state education to which all children must go.
Let them leave at 16 to start work my generation never had time to riot as we where to busy working to feed and cloth our selves I have been working since I was 12 years old.
I still went to school and college but had to hold down a job to keep a roof over my head and food in my belly as my mum and dad could not afford to keep me and my two sisters and my two brothers.
You appreciate your education more if you have to work to pay for it.
There should be no way for the family’s to pay for a university education as the cost could be taken from your wages into your college fund by the government from 16 years of age. If you chose not to go to university that could be the down payment for your home. There could still be the opportunity to pay for your own education as a mature student. This would let all the people learn what life is really worth and let them work for it regardless of race colour class or creed.

There should be a government cap on house prices and a law that assures all people who are born here or have been accepted as citizens of a roof over their head a right to housing for any one over the age of 16 years.

We would make sure that there was work for all at 16 by introducing a national citizen apprenticeship schema. This would offer school leavers the opportunity to train as a fireman a nurse, traffic control officer , an air traffic controller, a life boat man/ coast guard, police person. paramedic, ambulance driver , social worker, doctor, air-force officer, dustman, teaching assistant,
Private company’s would get government assistance with wages should they be able to give good reason why they should be included in the schema. All private company’s who get support from the government or are contracted to the government must join the schema. They must support a given number of apprentices that the government shall stipulate dependant on the size and fiscal turn over and profit off the company.
OK that’s how we cure the problem of violence and greed in our society in the medium term.
Short term we need to be much more careful how we handle things as we are in a very dangerous unstable state.
Big brother needs to be good this year, If we are to gauge the youth vote.

The biggest problem right now is how to not alienate London an the rest of the UK while holding an Olympics. Where a huge portion of the population is struggling with the glitter`atiy partying extravagantly in its midst. We know how the steaming works at Carnival. Trawling with a drift net for the Olympics! That is what they are trying to prevent. They could off set it all by legalising cannabis or at least decriminalising it that would at least make the austerity easier on the population.
It would also help keep the alcohol consumption down but when do the government ever do anything sensible?
The Long-term solution to the problem is more difficult as the rise of the far right across Europe spearheaded by the ex-Soviet block new European members and how that will play out with our multicultural youth is harder to predict or mitigate against but I don’t think the problem is to insurmountable as the ethnic Russian Europeans from our new European partners seem to like the liberality and multi-ethnic approach more than many English people , the interesting thing about the riots of course is that it was not English people who where rioting it was British people that is what it says on your passport British. The riots took place in England but the rioters where British.
The thing I find most disturbing about all this coverage is how it is focusing on the Afro Caribbean

The Election is it Green?
You would think by now with the level of technology we have that it would be possible to have a vote no matter where you are in the country.
That would save a lot of the paper that gets wasted in leaflets, circulars, voting papers,and all the paraphernalia.
Make sure its all recyclable. I would like the party's to have had more to say on green issues.

I find it a strange thing that we are still so localised Its not that I think local politics has no part to play and that local democracy is certainly a necessary thing. The problem is that local issues have little to do or relevance to the problems at a world level, the world financial crisis, The knock on problems from the Greek economy , Portugal`s economy, Erie`s economy, Spain's economy. The international wars we are currently engaged in wasting human life and out money. Global warming and the steps we need to take to do something about it. The need to curb and control the globalisation of industries and the fact that capitalist company's control the vital necessary resources like water and food production giving them the power to starve and manipulate the populace of country's to their own ends rather than it being under the control of democratically elected representatives of the people

I can only vote for my local MP in the area where I live now what is that all about it is my country and the People that put up for local election don't have a clue as to what needs to be done on a macro national and international level. Most really don't have clear insights into the global socio-economic world situation and yet we are electing them to government where we expect them to make choices on these issues risis, The knock on problems from the Greek economy , Portugal's economy, Erie`s economy, Spain's economy. The need for electoral reform has never been so needed as it is now the expenses row, The fact that more people can vote for the party that gets the last seats than for the party that forms the government. This we call democracy well I suppose its true democracy even at its best means the largest minority rules and the majority can go to well any where they wont be governing that's for sure.

SO WHAT ABOUT THE GREEN PARTY WELL THEY PLANE TO GOVERN BY CONSENSUS.

Now that's the sort of electoral reform I would like to see.
