Given that now in the United Kingdom all benefits doctors appointments, hospital appointments, job applications, banking  in fact all of life necessary and non  necessary functions are for the most part  accessed on line . 
It is not surprising that  the Labour Party  have advocated free access to the internet for all as part of their policy. 
It is the most sensible solution to what is becoming a world wide problem of wealth and privilege disparity. 
It will not solve  the problem completely, that would require a change of consciousness among the world population . 
It will however go along way towards a solution and may even help to change the minds of the greedy and mean spirited in the world.

Why we need extinction rebellion

Yes that is about the long and the short of the human condition it will only change if every one becomes enlightened, free thinking, humble, cooperative beings with Altruism as the normal state of being human.

As opposed to greedy, self centered, twisted money grabbing bully's that our society ego and upbringing leads a great many of the human race to be.

Some thing that our ego, the divisions of race, religion, nationality, ethnicity have fostered and encouraged over the millennia of our existence.

In that we have been encouraged to strive to be better than the rest in ways that are not conducive to a free egalitarian, nurturing, loving, tolerant society's.

The birth if the Hippy generation and the peace movement signaled the beginning of a change and potential age of enlightenment. It has been to a large extent rubbished and corrupted and in many society's across the world it has never even got started its current manifestation in the Arab spring the protests in Hong Kong the traumas of Ukraine are being brutally suppressed by their own hierarchies and exploited by the others from out side and turned into the unending war on terrorism.

So there are doubts in my mind that as a race of beings and as society's we will ever be able to lift our selves out of the filth and squalor of the this condition .

I am in my 68th year off life an of the opinion that it is only the individual that can be truly spiritual and free and enlightened. That the idea if each individual having to be the change they want in the society they inhabit is the only way forward. Self change and enlightenment. We know its true for mental health , drug addiction and all those problems so it has to be true at a macro societal national cultural religious and ethnic level too.

i wrote this on the eve of the referendum how right i was .

A few days to go and every one is scared that the British public may vote to leave and cripple their economy and possible drag the European and world economy down with it.
Much of the reason for the British public voting to leave will probable rest with the desecration of the British education system by the last Tory government under Mrs Thatcher. The restriction on teaching socialist history of the suffragettes and the trade union movement and the clause 28 restriction on the work and struggles of the gay liberation movement, black power and the anti Vietnam struggle why many British 19 year old men refused to be drafted and lost dual nationality and in many cases lost their fathers as they could no longer visit them in the US and some fathers even rejected them . A struggle I was very involved with in my late teens as well as gay liberation. As many of my friends had gi dads from the war and just after.
Alongside this in my school history we where aware of the struggle to join the european union as it was part of what we where taught in our social history that Winston Churchill had wanted to have Britain at the center of Europe and the union was in some large part his idea a united states of Europe. was just what he envisaged.  
This was stopped by General De Gaul as the leader of France in cooperation with the United states who did not want a rival state in Europe. Equally supported by the Russians who also did not want a strong united Europe
With all this social history no longer taught after 1997 in secondary schools here in Britain it is no wonder that now we do not see our selves as european but as the residual citizens of the  British Empire. With a real chance that we will vote to come out of the union next week.
 In the years since Britain Joined the European Union it should have been part of the school curriculum and classes in at least one other european language should have been compulsory at all levels of education. and citizen ship classes should have been angled towards how to be a good British Subject  because that is  what we are subjects of the Queen   and Citizen of the European Union. we are first a subject of the crown and secondly a citizen of Europe. For how much longer remains to be seen.

Brexit is an international conspiracy of rich business people mainly currency dealers and  hedge fund managers  to steal the British economy from the British people. If we are to survive Brexit a communist style nationalized infrastructure of essential services like transport, health services, power, water  and food supplies will be  necessary for the people to survive the poverty that Brexit will bring. 

 It will become a matter of who do you stand for Boris Johnson   or the parliament and the people . Currently Boris is trying to position him self as the people. He is not he is more akin to a dictator or monarch who believes he rules by the divine right. of 160,000 votes of his conservative membership a group of British individuals who believe they have divine  right to rule, By dint of being conservatives . Deluded fools that they are .

The people of the european union look on with astonishment at how politically and democratically unsophisticated the population of the UK actually are .  
Interviews with the average person in the streets in the media are abysmal a great deal of them coming across as un-educated and some what dumb . 
With the current government looking like a band of teenagers  from the privileged public school and grammar schools lining their own pockets and operating a policy of  we are your betters and we know what is best. While driving the economy head long over a cliff .  
The trade deals should have been discussed and agreed before article 50 was invoked. "Talk about putting the cart before the horse"

THE BRIXIT MESS AND THE BORIS TAKE OVER

I think the whole shutting parliament is the first act by Boris and Moog to do away with elections all together .

I remember seeing Boris on a BBC program years ago when he was not so famous talking about how he envied the Roman empire being able to run the whole empire on just 200 civil servants. I think he will run the government on as few people as he can get away with its the same as Trump has done in the white house reducers the core of pole running government to a sect few supporters and get rid of any one else by what every means it takes .

I belie that is what he is softening us up for or rather creating new president because we do not have a written constitution so there is nothing to stop him. As long as he can just get these things through by stealth and with the moneyed classes supporting him an certain sections of the media .

His plan is for Britain becomes banana republic tax haven between the investments of the worlds major economies . It will be a sort of British Virgin islands heavy weight or full fat with the poor aspect of the British population in the same sate as the poor populations in the virgin islands but with out the good weather but still unlikely to be in the path of hurricanes.

However with global warming I am not so sure about the later thing .

It is this attitude that plays to them bulk of the public in England who are in essence a pretty self centered inward looking nation .

It is this small majority that we witnessed win the referendum for leaving the European union the areas of the country with the highest immigration like London and the major cities mainly voted to stay in the union. The areas that European immigrants had moved to and settled in largely smaller more rural towns and city voted out as this was their first real interaction with internationals. Where as the city had been multicultural and multi ethnic for a much longer time and had realized the benefits of many languages and cultures. Its all so true to say that many of the people who came from the eastern block country of Europe moved to more rural city and did not come to the big city and have little or no contact with the Afro Caribbean and Asian peoples and to some extent side with the people of England who do not like our commonwealth citizens who are now British also many of those commonwealth Britain voted out because they mistakenly thought that by getting out of Europe we would let in more of their relatives. This may be just from talking to my neighbors in green street Newham an area that Mr Trump stated was a Muslim no go area I am a white working class gay man born raised and educated in this area for the last 68 years its never been a no go area . Though many of my fellow class mates moved out and describe it as a no go area or state that they moved out because of all “the colored and Pakistanis that have moved in “ from what they consider is the threatened bastions of Bishops Storford Harlow Chelmsford Broadstaires, Christchurch and many other places in the south east. Those few of us who remained here are not so incline to those sort of views and comments we actually like and get on with our neighbors .
